Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville runs the Wilson County ReStore in Lebanon, which sells donated furniture and home goods. Its sales help fund homes for Middle Tennessee families, and ReStore proceeds have helped pay for more than 100 homes. The reuse policy keeps more than 1,500 tons of material out of landfills each year.
The household furniture covers living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms, alongside lighting, rugs and decor. Bulk supplies for big projects include flooring, doors, windows, kitchen cabinets, bath vanities and painting supplies. Prices on items drop every 14 days. Donations are accepted in the store based on condition. Free pickup is offered for large or heavy items on a ground floor, as long as they are taken apart first. The store is open Tuesday through Saturday.
