Clothing for the whole family fills the racks at the A J Volunteers Thrift Shop in Osceola, Nebraska, alongside household items and a variety of gifts. The shop opens Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Donations of clothing, household goods and similar items are accepted during regular business hours. In January 2024 the shop held a ribbon cutting at a new, larger location down the street, after the volunteers outgrew the original space.
Annie Jeffrey Volunteers run the shop. The group formed in 1994 to raise money for the local hospital and opened the thrift store on November 15, 1995. Profits from every sale go to Annie Jeffrey Health Center, where they pay for specialty items, special projects and updated equipment.
