Savers in Crestwood has a community donation center where people can drop off clothing, shoes, backpacks, purses, bed and bath linens, books, media, games, toys, housewares, electronics, exercise gear, small appliances and small furniture. Donated goods benefit the Military Order of the Purple Heart Service Foundation, which the store pays for what comes in. The store itself is run by a for-profit company, and shopping there does not support a nonprofit.
The sales floor carries clothing for the whole family along with dinnerware, accessories, books, housewares and electronics. Tuesdays are Senior Tuesday for shoppers 55 and older, and members of the Super Savers Club get access to special sales. A red Savers sign reading "Thrift Superstore" sits above the entrance. The store is open seven days a week and stays open into the evening.
