Treasures Thrift Store is run by Flat River Outreach Ministries in Lowell, Michigan, and all of its proceeds go to the ministry's mission, covering 40 percent of its funding. That support helps the organization serve more than 1,100 families each year with healthy food, housing, family support and resource connections. A Farm Market inside the store sells local produce and pantry staples and accepts SNAP/EBT.
The store sells clothing, home goods and brand-name items, with new stock arriving throughout the week and weekly sales, and it is open on weekdays. A dedicated donation room takes clothing, shoes, accessories, household items, wooden furniture, books, toys, sporting goods and craft supplies, but not fabric furniture, mattresses or electronics. A white roadside sign with red arrows points the way to the donation room, the thrift shop and the food pantry.
