All profits from Golden Goose Thrift Shop are split equally between its two member organizations, Saddlebrooke Community Outreach and Impact of Southern Arizona. Each one elects half of the shop's board. The nonprofit has served local families in Tucson for more than twenty years and received the 2024 Legacy Award from the Oro Valley Chamber of Commerce.
The shelves hold clothing, furniture, books, antiques, collectibles, garden goods and holiday items. The shop is open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, and takes donations Monday through Saturday. On the third Friday of each month, a Moonlight Madness event keeps the doors open into the early evening. A new volunteer orientation is held on the third Monday of every month. Bold blue letters spell out the name above an arched entrance set in a tan stucco tower.
