Council Grove, Kansas, has its Community Thrift Store open for business on Fridays and Saturdays. The shop serves the town's secondhand shoppers and donors under a sign all its own. That white sign hangs from a dark metal post crowned with a floodlight, with the store's name in bold black capitals above a lower panel that reads "Welcome."
