Closed on Sundays, the Salvation Army Family Store in Overland Park opens the other six days of the week and stays open into the evening on at least one of them. The location pairs its store with a donation center, so the same site takes in contributions and sells goods. Large red letters spelling out Family Store run across the front beside the organization's red shield, with Donation Center lettered in dark gray beneath. Purchases made here help pay for the charity's adult rehabilitation programs.
