This Tallahassee mission thrift shop sells clothing for men, women and children, along with furniture, kitchenware, home decor, books and toys. The stock changes constantly, and the store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. A painted city skyline runs across its blue facade.
The store takes donations of clothing, accessories, furniture, decor, books, toys and other household goods during store hours, and pickup for larger pieces can be arranged. Donations are tax-deductible, and volunteers are welcome to join the team. City Walk Urban Mission runs the store, and every purchase funds its Supportive Housing and Sober Living programs. These programs offer stable homes for elderly residents and people with disabilities, as well as structured, substance-free housing for people in recovery.
