Tender Hearts Ministries, a Christian nonprofit, runs this York resale shop. It sells clothing, shoes, accessories, jewelry, bedding, glassware, household goods, toys, games, bikes, furniture, small electronics and seasonal decorations. The store has a red brick front under a metal gabled roof, and its long white sign has a flower emblem at each end. It is open six days a week and closed on Sundays.
The ministry's Donation Warehouse in York takes in donated clothing, furniture and household items, along with personal hygiene items for men, women and children. Sales support the ministry's work against homelessness, poverty, addiction, abuse and despair. That work includes the House of Hope women's shelter, a men's shelter, baby care and senior care programs, recovery programs, job training and mentorship.
