A charity thrift shop in Salisbury, North Carolina, Nazareth Outlet Store raises support for Nazareth Child & Family Connection, the organization formally known as Nazareth Children's Home. That nonprofit provides residential services, family foster care, and behavioral health and substance use counseling. It also runs a day treatment academy for students who have not fit into a traditional classroom setting.
Both shopping at the store and donating goods as gifts in kind feed into the agency's mission of changing young lives and helping youth and families build their own solutions. The store is open five days a week. Its white sign shows the Nazareth name in navy lettering beside a blue interlocking emblem, mounted on green metal siding.
