Every sale at this Lenoir shop helps Caldwell County Habitat for Humanity build affordable homes in partnership with local families. The Caldwell County Habitat ReStore stocks new and used furniture, appliances, home décor and building materials, keeping tons of material out of landfills. Shipments arrive weekly, so the inventory changes constantly, and new items are posted on the store's Facebook page.
Donations from area residents and businesses fill the shelves. Drop-offs are accepted Tuesday through Saturday, and pickups can be scheduled, while shopping is open Thursday through Saturday only. A green peaked awning with the ReStore sign hangs over a blue entry door, which is reached by a railed ramp beside the loading dock.
