In St. Clair Shores, the Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center serves as both a shop and a drop-off point for donated goods. Its sign spells out Family Store in glowing red letters next to the charity's red shield, with Donation Center lit in yellow below. Beneath the sign, dark brick frames the entrance. The store is open six days a week, keeps evening hours on at least one of them, and stays closed on Sundays. Money from purchases here supports the organization's adult rehabilitation programs.
