Weekdays are when Help Thrift Store in Sandusky, Michigan, opens its doors; on weekends it stays closed. Long racks of clothing, from button-down shirts to sweaters and jackets, fill its sales floor beneath a painted line along the upper walls that reads "do to others what you would have them do unto you." Shoppers come to this Sandusky shop for that deep clothing selection, set out rack after rack across the room.
