In Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, the Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center combines a thrift shop and a drop-off point for donations at one location. Money spent here helps support the charity's adult rehabilitation programs. A tall pole sign out front carries the red Salvation Army shield over the words "Thrift Store," with a separate red panel below marking the donation center. The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays.
