Pale mint-green metal siding rises above a tan block storefront at North Star Habitat for Humanity's ReStore in Sault Ste. Marie, with a white sign naming the store mounted high on the wall. A blue band runs across the front above the windows and door, carrying a smaller Habitat for Humanity sign at the entrance. Donated furniture, appliances and building materials go up for sale here, and the money raised pays for Habitat's work building and fixing up homes. The store opens its doors five days each week.
