Donated books, clothing, home decor, toys and other goods stock the shop, and volunteers handle everything from processing those donations to keeping the sales floor welcoming for shoppers. The Copper Nail is open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday, in Grass Lake, Michigan. Its entrance is a cream-colored paneled door set into red clapboard siding, with the store's name lettered in red across the glass.
