A resale shop run by Heritage Christian Services, A Second Thought sells used clothing for the whole family along with accessories, housewares, furniture and books, and the stock changes constantly. Sales fund an international ministries program at Heritage Christian Services, in which volunteers deliver wheelchairs, companionship and healthcare to families in Central America. Purchases also support the agency's local service work.
The store relies on quality donations and on volunteers who accept donations, sort clothing, sell merchandise and help with store promotion, and no retail experience is needed. Each weekday brings a different daily special, and the shop is open five days a week. A long red awning across the front carries the store's name in white letters next to a tag reading "Resale Shop."
