Menifee Valley Community Cupboard Thrift Shop raises money for a nonprofit food pantry, and all of its proceeds cover the operating costs of both the shop and the Cupboard. Alongside the thrift shop, the organization also runs a Holiday Shop. The storefront sits behind a row of red brick columns, with rough fieldstone pillars set between its windows.
The Menifee Valley Community Cupboard works to fight hunger and malnutrition in the Menifee Valley. It hands out emergency non-perishable food at no cost to the homeless, seniors, families and the working poor. Its pantry serves more than 900 local families, and it partners with schools to send food backpacks home with students in need. The shop in Menifee, California, is open six days a week and closed on Sundays.
