Everyday repairs include lengthening or shortening jeans, shortening sleeves, hemming pants, skirts, dresses and outerwear, and taking in jackets, shirts and pants.
The shop also fixes coat and jacket shoulders, replaces zippers and buttons, and mends holes. On the resale side, a long rail holds secondhand white and ivory wedding gowns decorated with lace and beading, hung next to formal dresses in lavender, pink, sage and blue. The doors are open seven days a week, and the shop stays open into the evening on at least one day.
