In Whittier, California, Golden Thrift Store runs its secondhand shop from a storefront faced in pale tan brick. A large orange-and-red sun with a spiraling center is painted across the front window, and vinyl records line the glass above the door and display window. The store opens its doors seven days a week, weekends included, so shoppers can come by on any day. Its hours are hand-lettered in white paint directly on the glass of the front door.
