In Pasadena, The Salvation Army Thrift Store & Donation Center combines a resale shop with a place to drop off donated goods. Its doors open seven days a week, and on at least one day it stays open into the evening. Revenue from its sales goes toward the charity's adult rehabilitation programs. Over the entrance, a red Salvation Army shield sits beside large letters spelling out "Family Store."
