Clothing, toiletries and home goods move through In The Making, a 501(c)(3) California nonprofit and community resource center in Los Angeles that helps local youth learn important life skills. Nonprofit organizations, schools and government agencies use its services to meet the needs of the people they serve. Corporate overflow and surplus stock let a single partnership reach several organizations at once.
The center accepts support from large organizations and individuals alike. Its work includes creative ways for people to build an income stream, along with a youth fund called the YES Fund and a 5K fun run. The gray building carries the name in lowercase letters set between square brackets, above a tall glass entrance with roll-up shutters on either side.
