Welfare League Thrift Shop carries brand-new Snoopy clothing and items for the whole family alongside its donated stock. The Welfare League, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, runs the shop and has served local families in Santa Rosa since 1939. The racks hold clothing for men, women and children, including designer labels, vintage pieces and furs. Jewelry, purses, hats, scarves, shoes, housewares, vintage linens, artwork, fabrics and crafts, books, toys, puzzles, collectibles and antiques fill out the rest.
Everything else on the floor is donated by members of the community. Donations are taken during shop hours, six days a week, with Sundays closed. The shop does not pick up items, and it turns away furniture and other large pieces, electronics, wedding gowns, dolls, and gear for babies such as strollers and car seats.
