Fabulous Finds on Fulton, the resale shop of Assistance League of Sacramento, sells donated clothing, home goods, furniture and books, and it is open five days a week. It welcomes donations of new or lightly used items, and volunteers run it entirely. All proceeds stay local and fund programs for children, foster youth, seniors and others in need.
The nonprofit behind the shop formed in 1968 and serves more than 34,000 people each year across the Greater Sacramento area. Its programs include Operation School Bell, which provides new clothing and school supplies. It also gives scholarships, teddy bears for children in medical emergencies, starter kits for people moving into housing, and work clothes for women finishing job training. The shop shares a taupe building with the Assistance League Center, which has a long flat canopy and dark brown awnings over its windows.
