At Magical New Beginnings, a thrift store in Corona, California, preloved items brought in by shoppers earn credit toward a purchase, and the store also accepts donations. A lettered sign on the front door spells out both the trade-in credit and the welcome for donations. The shop is open five days a week, staying open into the evening on at least one of them.
