Savers in Laguna Hills takes donations of clothing and shoes, bed and bath goods, books and media, games and toys, housewares, electronics, small appliances, small furniture, sporting goods, and backpacks and purses, all on behalf of the American Red Cross. The Red Cross is paid for what donors bring in, and each drop-off earns a discount on a later purchase. The store is open seven days a week, with evening hours.
The racks carry clothing for the whole family, plus dinnerware, accessories, books, housewares and electronics. Every Tuesday is Senior Tuesday for shoppers 55 and older, and Super Savers Club members get their own members-only sales. A for-profit company runs the store, so purchases don't benefit any nonprofit. White brick pillars hold up a red tile roof over the front walk.
