A vintage and thrift resale store, Resale Therapy opened recently in San Mateo and carries one-of-a-kind furniture alongside home goods such as china, crystal and original art. Costume jewelry, ephemera, clothing, shoes and collections of curios round out the stock, along with artisan pieces handcrafted both locally and farther afield.
New arrivals reach the shelves every week, and a mailing list sends out news of fresh vintage finds. The shop is open five days a week, Tuesday through Saturday. On the sales floor, carved wooden cabinets and red lacquerware sit beside brass-framed shelving under starburst chandeliers.
