Seven days a week, Shafter Thrift Store keeps its doors open to shoppers and donors in Shafter, California. On at least one of those days, it stays open into the evening. Purple panels lettered in gold script, one reading "Thrift" and the other "Store," run above its front windows beneath a large white banner bearing the store's name in bold black letters.
