Clothing, home goods and furniture donations can be dropped off at the store, and pickups can be scheduled for large items. The racks carry evening wear and clothing for men, women, misses and children, plus shoes for the whole family. Household goods, decor, appliances and art fill out the stock, and seasonal items are there all year. Weekly sales run regularly, and the shop is open six days a week, closed Sundays.
Kings Gospel Mission runs the thrift store in Hanford as part of its work with men and women experiencing homelessness. The store gives jobs to people who have been marginalized and are re-entering the workforce. Every dollar spent there supports the mission's shelters, sober living homes and job programs.
