A resale shop run by the Resource & Crisis Center of Galveston County, RCC Resale Store in League City raises money for a nonprofit that supports victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and human trafficking. The center offers free emergency shelter, a 24-hour crisis hotline, residential and non-residential programs, legal help and sexual assault services. It also works to prevent these crimes.
Through advocacy, crisis intervention and support, the center's staff help individuals and families build lasting lives free from abuse. The organization also holds events and educational trainings during the awareness months tied to its mission, including Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October. Above the storefront, a lit white "RCC Resale" sign carries the center's blue sun logo. The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays.
