Every sale at this Mansfield thrift store helps fund Mansfield Mission Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides food, healthcare, financial coaching and other essential services to people who live, work and worship in Mansfield. Donated goods also go straight to families in need as clothing and household essentials, and the store gives out vouchers for free items.
The stock includes secondhand and some new clothing, furniture, housewares, books and appliances. The center takes donations of furniture, clothing and housewares, and volunteers, including community groups, help keep the store running. Mansfield Mission Center Thrift Store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. Out front stands a wooden planter carved with a line crediting the Mansfield Home Depot.
