Sales at The Outlet Thrift Store support Succeed Forever Community, a nonprofit in Duncanville, Texas, whose youth programs include NFL FLAG football, golf and homeschool P.E. The shop carries both new and used goods, from clothing, shoes and tools to home decor such as throw pillows, wall art, lamps and knickknacks. Handbags and genuine jewelry fill out the accessories.
The store accepts donations of goods, and volunteers help keep it running. It is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. Wooden shelving units on casters line the sales floor, stocked with glassware, vases and kitchenware, and a marble-topped dining set stands nearby with racks of clothing behind it.
