MAM Resale Store in the Heights carries vinyl records alongside a boutique-style mix of clothing, shoes, accessories, small housewares, books, seasonal merchandise and pop culture items, including name-brand and designer pieces. Sales support Memorial Assistance Ministries, a nonprofit that draws nearly a quarter of its funding from resale and runs employment services, English classes, financial coaching and other economic mobility programs.
Donations are accepted Wednesday through Saturday, and staff or volunteers help unload cars and hand over a tax receipt. Because space is limited, this location cannot take furniture, and nothing is accepted on consignment. The store is open six days a week and closed Sundays, with later hours on Thursdays. Its outside walls are painted in big blocks of orange, pink, teal, lime green and navy.
