Houston Junior Forum has owned and run this Heights resale shop since 1969, and it moved into its current building in 1987. Furniture is the main focus, with pieces for living rooms, bedrooms and dining rooms in both modern and classic styles. Shelves also carry vintage items, home decor, collectibles, silverware, women's jewelry, and clothing for men and women.
Donations of furniture, dishes, glassware and other good-quality goods are taken during business hours, Monday through Saturday. Bed frames, mattresses, computers, monitors and sports equipment are not accepted. Clean furniture in good repair can be consigned midweek after pre-approval. Part of the shop's yearly net profit goes to the HJF College Scholarship and Community Grants programs. A black awning with the forum's round monogram hangs over its pale stone front.
