At Heart of Texas Goodwill's Waco outlet, merchandise doesn't sit on shelves. It comes out onto the floor in large blue bins, and the stock changes several times a day. Household wares and textiles such as clothing are kept apart, and furniture, media and shoes usually get their own sections. Everything here comes from Heart of Texas Goodwill stores, where donations are sorted and priced every day. Items that don't sell there are sent to the outlet for one last chance to sell.
Bulk buyers can purchase merchandise by the whole bin or gaylord. All items are sold as is, all sales are final, and outlet purchases don't earn loyalty rewards. The outlet is open seven days a week. Sales support the nonprofit's work removing barriers to jobs, resources and opportunities.
