Goodwill Store & Donation Center in Scottsboro sells donated goods, and its sales and donations fund Alabama Goodwill's job training and career services. That work focuses on removing barriers to employment and helping people build skills through learning and the power of work, with workshops, career guidance and contracting services offered across the communities it serves.
The store accepts donated goods as well as selling them. It is open seven days a week and stays open into the evening on at least one day. Beyond drop-offs, the organization also offers donation pick-up and helps schools, churches and workplaces host donation drives. The store sits in a red brick building with large white letters spelling GOODWILL across its peaked front gable.
