Upscale resale is the focus at labelswap in Tampa. The shop buys current men's and women's clothing, purses and accessories directly from customers and resells them on its sales floor. People with pieces they no longer wear can sell them to the store and use the exchange to refresh their own wardrobes.
The store holds more than 10,000 unique items in 4,200 square feet of retail space, and hundreds of new pieces arrive every day. Many items are marked down further to make room for new stock, and shoppers can join a VIP program. The words "Buy, Sell, Refine" run across the front windows of the white-and-gray building. The doors are open seven days a week, with evening hours on weekdays.
