Jericho Road Ministries, a nonprofit, runs the Sunrise store in Brooksville. It carries clothing, furniture, electronics, decor, appliances, dishes, antiques, toys, shoes, linens, cookware, jewelry, sporting goods and purses. A rotating selection of items is marked down each week, a monthly sale day cuts prices across the store, and current and former military members get a discount on one item. Red THRIFT STORE lettering runs across its white front, which is shaped into three broad arches.
The store is open six days a week, stays open into the evening and closes on Sundays. Donations are taken Monday through Saturday, and large items can be picked up for free. Damaged goods, mattresses, sleeper sofas and children's car seats are among the things it cannot accept. All proceeds support the ministry's work with people seeking freedom from homelessness and addiction.
