Unforsaken Treasures Resale Shop in Minneola is run by Unforsaken Women, a Christian 501(c)(3) ministry. Sales help pay for the ministry's benevolence work with single moms, widows and their children. Beyond its local outreach, the organization supports a Christian school in Haiti and a ministry that rescues and restores trafficking victims.
The shop also houses a food pantry for hungry neighbors, and it keeps the same hours as the resale shop. Both are open six days a week and closed on Sundays. Donations to the shop are tax-deductible. Donors can register each gift with its date, its value and a short description of the items. The ministry also offers furniture pickup for donations.
