Secondhand clothing, shoes and accessories for women, men and children fill Fig Leaf Boutique in Fort Myers, Florida. Into the Jordan Ministries runs the shop. The ministry is a Christian 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2013 by a survivor of human trafficking, and the boutique's sales support its free services for people affected by sexual exploitation and trafficking. The boutique also houses a Drop-In Center that gives immediate help to people in crisis.
Donations of used clothing and other goods support that work, which includes mentorship, recovery groups, life-skills classes, biblical counseling and career coaching. Out front by the road, a tall hot-pink flag carries the boutique's name in dark script. The store is open on weekdays and closed on weekends.
