Donated goods at Reach Thrift Store do double duty: sales bring quality merchandise to shoppers at affordable prices, and donated items are also turned into financial help or replacement belongings for people who lose possessions in emergencies. The shop is an outreach ministry of REACH Community Church, an inter-denominational Christian congregation that holds Sunday services in the garden behind the store.
Weekly sales and clearance events run alongside a selection of boutique fashion items. Donations go to the front door, and furniture and large appliances are not accepted. Monetary gifts can also be directed to the store through the church's online giving. Open Tuesday through Saturday, the store fills a white block building banded with yellow and red stripes. Volunteers are always welcome.
