Community Family Thrift Store in North Miami carries new and used furniture along with clothing, mattresses, electronics and appliances, jewelry and watches, shoes, handbags and home goods. The organization behind it has served the South Florida community since 1985. It also welcomes resellers and wholesalers, supplying sellers on eBay, Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp with vintage pieces, mid-century furniture, antiques, sports memorabilia, video games and systems, and name-brand home decor.
Donations go to an attended donation center with clothing bins, and larger items can be collected through a scheduled pickup. The store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. A long row of shopping carts stands ready just inside its double front doors.
