Innovative Charities of Northwest Florida runs its thrift store in Marianna with two goals: raising operating funds for the nonprofit and letting families with tight budgets buy clothing and other needed items at prices they can afford. The store also serves as storage for the household goods assistance program, which helps people rebuild a home after a fire, domestic abuse or other upheaval.
The 501(c)(3) organization has given free supplemental food to qualified families since 2008, and it also collects donated home medical equipment for people waiting on prescribed items. Community donations stock the shelves and are accepted at the Marianna location any time outside food pantry hours. A long white sign with a blue sunburst logo names the King's Table Food Pantry and New Seasons Thrift Store, and the store is open five days a week.
