The Ensley Pensacola Store combines a Goodwill retail store with a donation center, so shoppers and donors use the same location. It is run by Goodwill Gulf Coast, a nonprofit that serves ten counties across Alabama and the Florida Panhandle with employment, education, family and support services. The store is open seven days a week and stays open into the evening.
The donation center takes household goods every day of the week, and it opens earlier in the morning than the sales floor. Donors pull into a covered drop-off lane beside the main entrance, marked by a sign pointing the way and yellow posts at the curb. A large blue-and-white Goodwill sign runs across the store's white upper front, over a brick base.
