Breaking Free Ministry runs Heaven Sent Resale in Wauchula, Florida, and sells resale goods to the local community. The ministry is a Christian organization that guides women out of drug addiction and helps reunite them with their children at Pioneer Village, its ranch property with log cabins for family visits. It also helped start an orphanage in the Dominican Republic and opened Casa de Lydia, a women's home in Guerra, in 2009.
The store also operates alongside the ministry's separate thrift store. It's open six days a week, stays open into the evening at least one day, and is closed on Sundays. Inside, bright green handwritten signs mark the linens section, where folded sheets and blankets fill tall wooden shelves, and a bookcase packed full of books.
