Donations are accepted on four mornings a week at this Bushnell ministry thrift store, which is open four days a week. Hope Ministries Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, runs the shop as a ministry of First Baptist Church of Bushnell, and the store runs on both donations and purchases.
Money from the store goes toward resources and support for individuals and families in need. The center also runs a food pantry, where staff offer emergency food assistance. Its mission, Helping Others by Providing Eternal HOPE, centers on glorifying God and strengthening the church community. The shop is in a pale gray metal building with light blue trim, a wide roll-up door and a row of white chairs along the covered front walkway.
