Every sale at Alpha-Omega Thrift Store funds Alpha-Omega Miracle Home, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has given shelter and support to single mothers, their children and senior women since 1997, including through its G.R.O.W. Housing Program. The 11,800-square-foot shop in St. Augustine carries men's, women's and children's clothing, vintage apparel, dresses, suits and shoes, along with furniture, appliances, electronics, tools and hardware.
The shelves also hold books, records, DVDs, video games, board games, toys, artwork, wall décor and antiques. Daily specials run Monday through Friday, and the store is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. Its white-lettered sign tops a deep burgundy entrance tower with an arched doorway.
