Part of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, this St. Augustine thrift shop belongs to a Catholic organization whose volunteer members, known as Vincentians, work to feed, clothe, house and heal neighbors in need. Thrift stores sit alongside food pantries, rental assistance, homelessness prevention, disaster recovery and charitable pharmacies in the Society's work across the United States.
The Society has been bringing help to people in need for more than 175 years, and its more than 4,000 conferences nationwide count over 81,000 members. The shop is open six days a week and closed on Sundays. Its long white building has a green metal roof, with the Society's name painted across the front in dark green letters.
