Sales at this Shelton store help fund a faith-based housing ministry that works with the community to build, repair and maintain affordable homes for people in need. Habitat for Humanity of Mason County has been doing that work for more than 30 years and has built and repaired over 400 homes locally. A blue Furniture sign hangs over a floor filled with dining tables, wooden chairs, sofas and recliners.
The store accepts donations of new and used household items, and donors can schedule a pickup. The organization also takes vehicle donations. Volunteers work in the store as well as on build sites and at special events. The store is open five days a week.
