A Goodwill thrift store in Summerville, South Carolina, Palmetto Goodwill sells donated goods to fund job training and employment programs across its region. The store opens its doors seven days a week and stays open into the evening on at least one of them. Large white letters spelling GOODWILL, set beside a blue square carrying the organization's lowercase "g" mark, run high across the store's gray front wall.
